I’m supporting The Delores Project throughout the month of November and leading up to Colorado Gives Day (12/05/23).
For those who don’t know, The Delores Project's mission is to provide safe, comfortable shelter to unaccompanied women and transgender individuals as well as advocate for housing solutions.
As a board member, my interest in the Dolores Project comes via my work as an architect. I believe that basic shelter is a human right. Without access to safe, stable housing that supports healing and growth, the work of maintaining health, building self-sufficiency, and fulfilling fundamental responsibilities on a personal and civic level becomes excessively challenging.
