Kantorei has been a part of my life for over 25 years. In 1998, I was looking for a new choral music family. I longed for the kind of experience that I had in college (Wartburg College) and Kantorei was the answer.

With Kantorei I have traveled the world to sing. Twice we went to Europe, and we have attended three national ACDA conventions. In June of 2022 we traveled to Guatemala to sing and support a local choral ensemble (my picture above is from Guatemala). The experiences have been life-changing.

In addition to performing, Kantorei frequently commissions new choral works from living composers. As an example, we commissioned "Song Offerings" with composer Christopher Tin.
