"Even a $5 donation helps NWDC buy program supplies, like insect nets and soil shovels for NWDC's nature education programs. These supplies get used regularly by students in our Earth Studies program, a 20-year partnership with the Pueblo District 60, which provides hands-on environmental education to ~1000 fifth-graders annually. 2022-2023 the fifth graders will visit both of NWDC's campuses three times throughout the school year."- Noel Zant, Program Director.
"Your donation supports the food and medical care costs of the numerous injured and orphaned birds of prey, about 300, that come through our Raptor Center doors each year. It costs us well over $1,000/month to feed the birds in our care. To feed a large bird like an Eagle or osprey can cost $35/week. So big or small, your donation matters to NWDC."- Diana Miller, Raptor Center Director
The NWDC team cares deeply about the work we do, and with your support, we can continue to make a positive impact on the Pueblo community through nature education, wildlife rehabilitation, and outdoor recreation.
