Love Your Neighbor: Virtual FRESH FOOD Food Drive

Thank you so much for supporting Broomfield FISH during our Love Your Neighbor Virtual FRESH FOOD Food Drive campaign! This February, you can “Love Your Neighbor” by helping us provide more fresh, nutritious food for local families.

Instead of traditional canned food drives, this year’s campaign invites you to give online so we can purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, and proteins for our food pantry.

People often ask us, “What’s better to donate—food or money?” 

Both are appreciated, but your dollars can often go further with a donation. A bag of apples that might cost you about $5.00 at the store can cost FISH less than $2.00, thanks to our bulk buying power that's also tax exempt. Through us, your financial donation becomes a tool that helps us stretch every bit of generosity to meet the specific needs of our community.

Your support is vital as we continue to see record-breaking need. In 2025, we served almost 16,000 individual residents—about one out of every five Broomfield residents. It truly takes our whole community to help ensure no one has to go hungry.

WHAT IS BROOMFIELD FISH?

We are a non-profit organization and a family resource center in Broomfield. Our mission is to provide food, emergency financial assistance, and one-on-one mentoring support to Broomfield residents in need.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP?                             

The high cost of living and the impact of inflation has made it even harder for residents to make ends meet. In 2025 we distributed over 1.7 million pounds of food. This is an 10% increase from 2024. As a Family Resource Center, our goal at FISH is to make sure that everyone has food to eat and a safe, stable home.
