Connie’s CommUNITY Builder

I am raising money for Chaffee County Community Foundation. I believe that a strong community starts with a strong community foundation. When moving to Colorado, Buena Visita immediately felt welcoming, and I knew this is where I wanted to call home.  The Chaffee County Community Foundation works every day to build community - making this an amazing place to live, work, and play. I’ve set a goal to recruit 7 new donors by December 6th. I hope you will join me in supporting CCCF for Colorado Gives Day! A gift to CCCF supports the entire community.

Chaffee County has felt like home since the first time I visited, looking to see where I wanted to live for my work transfer. I was overwhelmed with the compassion and generosity of the people here, and I joined CCCF to help grow that and focus on the issues that are meaningful to my neighbors. In our small community, we are impacted so much more than larger communities with more resources, with the additional challenge of being a somewhat remote mountain community. This is why supporting our community foundation is critical to maintaining a thriving community here.
