150 for 50 is a matching fundraising effort to help recondition the Mission Viejo Library, located in the namesake neighborhood in Aurora, Colorado. The goal of the campaign is to raise $75,000 for Mission Viejo Library to match $75,000 from Aurora City Council to recondition the library, in honor of its 50 anniversary in 2025. $150,000 for 50 years of the library!

Background: Aurora City Council awarded $75,000 for minor improvements to Mission Viejo Library. To maximize the effort, Aurora Public Library in conjunction with the Friends of Aurora Public Library, is conducting a matching funds effort, with the goal to raise additional an $75,000 for a grand total of $150,000.

100 % of the funds raised will go directly into minor improvements to the library --such as paint, new furniture, upgrades to meeting rooms-- which after 50 years of serving the Aurora community is in need of some T.LC.
