Dee & Steve Lambert STEM Scholarship

Thank you for visiting our page! We are raising money for the Dee & Steve Lambert STEM Scholarship at the Community College of Aurora. This fund supports graduates from Aurora Central High School (or another local Aurora High School) pursuing a STEM pathway who wish to transfer to a four-year university. 

In 1971, Steve Lambert graduated from Aurora Central High School. He went on to earn his petroleum engineering degree from Colorado School of Mines in 1975. Steve’s career with Union Oil and Chevron took him and his family all over the world. In 2021, Steve and his wife Dee desired to support more Aurora Public Schools’ graduates to pursue careers in STEM fields. They created the Dee and Steve Lambert STEM Scholarship to cultivate and develop a larger pipeline of APS students being prepared for rewarding STEM careers.
