A performance by the Colorado Symphony was the first live music I attended when I moved to Denver over eight years ago. Christopher Dragon was conducting Elgar’s "Enigma Variations." After residing in a small city in New Mexico the previous three years, I was delighted to be living only a few blocks from a major orchestra. I knew almost no one in town and decided that would not stop me from making my way to Boettcher Hall alone.  Attending the Symphony made me feel a part of something bigger and of a larger Colorado community of other music fans.

Today, I am thrilled to be able to share my love of the Symphony with my daughter and serve as a Trustee of the organization. My hope is that one day every Coloradan will share my passion. Please consider donating to the Colorado Symphony on Colorado Gives Day!
