Yampa Valley Pride 2023

Yampa Valley Pride (YVP) is the currenly only community-based LGBTQIA2S+ organization in Routt Count, Colorado. YVP seeks to foster community and connection between LGBTQIA2S+ people in Yampa Valley while increasing their visibility in the larger community. YVP's main activity is planning a sustainable annual Pride event and other events throughout the year. Through connections built on a foundation of fun, YVP has become a central hub for advocacy on behalf of the LGBTQIA2S+ locally. Most recently, YVP worked in collaboration with the Social Justice Coalitoin on a survey and roundtable of the LGBTQIA2S+ community in Routt County to learn more about their needs and experiences.
