2023: AHS Project ACE - Arapahoe Court Expansion

For any families who are or have ever been involved in the Arapahoe High School tennis program, you know that we are one of the few 5A High Schools with just 4 tennis courts.  With only 4 courts, our Varsity and JV Teams are constantly challenged with limited court time for practice & matches.  Additionally, the AHS courts are constantly in need of repair & resurfacing (from non post-tension design).  To generate a more successful and sustainable AHS Tennis program and legacy for years to come, we need better facilities and expanded courts.   Our AHS Tennis players and coaches need 6!

Project ACE is a joint effort between the Boys and Girls Tennis Programs at Arapahoe High School.  Our goals include:

1. EXPAND THE NUMBER OF AHS TENNIS COURTS TO SIX
2. SUPPORT & IMPROVE THE AHS TENNIS PROGRAM THROUGH COURT RELATED UPGRADES AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS, INCLUDING POST-TENSION CONCRETE COURTS
3. CREATE AN IMPROVED TENNIS VIEWING EXPERIENCE, INCLUSIVE OF ELDERLY AND HANDICAPPED SPECTATORS

The AHS Tennis Program is also one of the few "no-cut" sports at AHS.  The experience of being part of a team is invaluable and our students are lucky to have the opportunity to play a high school sport.  However, this results in a roster of as many as 26 players on the JV Black team, which is the third tier team (Following Varsity and JV Gold).  Cycling such a large roster through 4 courts makes for an incredibly long event for players, parents and spectators.  6 courts would greatly assist all teams, especially the JV Black team, and allow students to continue to benefit from participation in this program.  

All funds collected through this Fundraising Page will be given directly to Project ACE from the AHS Warrior Booster Organization.  All donations are tax deductible and you will receive a receipt from the coloradogives website.

The Warrior Tennis players (present & future) greatly appreciate your investment in Arapahoe Tennis!  Tennis is a growing sport, and AHS is lucky to be able to offer this sport to a large number of players.  Your donation has helped us raise important funds for the project.
