Support Food Justice Initiatives in NW Aurora!

$2,500 goal

Food Justice NW Aurora (FJNWA) is transforming the local food system while increasing local food production, improving access to nutritious and culturally important food, and building a food justice movement.

FJNWA connects community gardeners and urban farmers to resources, provides technical assistance to small food markets, and brings community voices together to advocate for change.

2 in 3 people in NW Aurora are experiencing or at risk of food insecurity which is 6 times higher than the state average. This means that two-thirds of residents lack consistent economic resources to afford safe, adequate, and nutritious food to support an active and healthy life for all household members.

Join the movement and support our efforts to create a just, sustainable, and complete food environment in NW Aurora!

Food Justice NW Aurora is fiscally sponsored by The Barton Institute for Community Action
