As some of you may have noticed, we recently had our front glass door shattered by a community member in crisis. Unfortunately, our cameras were not working, and we are unable to identify who that person was with absolute certainty. We found out a day later that our hose to our HVAC had also been severed and needed repaired. All of these are on us as an organization to cover repair costs, in accordance with our lease with the city.
We are reaching out to you, our lovely community members, for your support in recouping the cost of the repairs and helping us purchase solar powered security cameras for the front entrance and back of the building. Your donation will help us keep FoCo Cafe and the garden area a safe space for all. It's not an easy ask, and an unfortunate situation we find ourselves in, but we want you to know that we are here for you and committed to keeping this space safe, respectful, and welcoming to all.
