Contribute to the Cozy Home Project and maintain our solid infrastructure as we continue the programs and services for our intellectually and developmentally disabled participants and families we’ve served for over 50 years.

Mountain Valley Residential Services

Your support helps provide functional, energy efficient and pleasant spaces for our residents and staff.

Officially launched in January 2026, Cozy Home Project received a Black Hills Energy Community Giving Grant to replace single-paned windows in one of our 10 residential homes. Cozy Home will continue in partnership with CLEER, NEEP, NWCOGG, and others, focusing on energy efficiency and general maintenance of our residences, main agency and retail greenhouse and weavers buildings. 

A small contribution has a lasting impact in the comfort of our residents and staff. 

The Cozy Home capital campaign for these upgrade projects is $90,000, which includes $25,000 for new windows in  another residential home. MVDS Residential Services offers individuals 18 years and older a variety of living environments and training in areas that promote independence and self-sufficiency throughout their lives. Options range from supported living in apartments, with family or in Host Homes to full personal care in residential homes with 24/7 staffing. 

Cozy Home is very important to the health and wellbeing of our residents and staff.

Of the many homes throughout Garfield and Eagle County where our residents live, we own 10 homes and 3 apartments plus our main office, Day Program, Greenhouse and Weaver Studio in Glenwood Springs, and the Day Program site in Minturn. The Silt Day Program has been updated in partnership with NEEP. Other Cozy Home partners include Habitat for Humanity Roaring Fork Valley, Builders FirstSource, BeBrEm Construction, Glenwood Springs Rotary Club, Glenwood Springs Elks Lodge, Glenwood Springs Kiwanis, and Defiance Thrift Store. We have abundant resources that are in constant need of General Maintenance such as: major appliances, flooring, roofing, windows, and painting. 

We are stable, experienced and our services are unique to those with I/DD.
