Sara's fundraiser for the Tabor Opera House

I've been so proud to be the President of the Tabor Opera House Preservation Foundation Board in 2023. This Colorado Gives day, we are hoping to raise enough money to meet a a generous $70,000 match from two local anonymous families.   Here are some things I am particularly excited that we accomplished this year:

1. Conducted board training in board roles and responsibilities and equity and social justice; 
2. Finished another summer season of exterior construction to restore our north wall and ghost mural;
3. Engaged in a wonderful partnership with Lyric Theater of Leadville to present high quality music shows, broadway stars, community musical theater, and several amazing community events;
4. Created a 3 year Strategic Plan to be approved this winter, to launch our next phase of rehabilitation, fundraising and community programming.
