Supporting A Little Help in Rhoda B. Miller's Name

When Rhoda Miller was in the last years of being able to live alone at her long-time residence in Denver's Baker neighborhood, she gained a trusted partner in A Little Help, allowing her to retain her dignity, her agency, and her sense of community. Their volunteers gave her help with all sorts of things, from gardening and snow shoveling to hanging pictures to navigating the internet. Rhoda found one of her best friends through A Little Help, a young woman who began by bringing dinner and ended up visiting regularly the rest of Rhoda's life. 

When she eventually moved to assisted living, they kept helping her with rides, more picture hanging, and more friendly meals. When Rhoda's assisted living facility literally exploded (long story), a volunteer from A Little Help was the first person to arrive on-scene to make sure she wasn't hurt.
