Help Nurture the Next Generation of Jewish Life in the Yampa Valley
Imagine being a Jewish child growing up in a small mountain town—surrounded by nature, but far from the rich Jewish resources found in larger cities. In Steamboat Springs and the rural Yampa Valley, Har Mishpacha is not just a synagogue—it’s the heart of Jewish life. We are the only provider of formal Jewish education within about 100 miles.
Our Youth Programs are the lifeline that connect children, teens, and families to Jewish identity, learning, and tradition. Through age-appropriate and engaging experiences—like Har MishMish for toddlers, the Masa Religious School, Hebrew School, Bar/Bat Mitzvah prep, and our growing BBYO teen group—we reach over 40 children and teens every year. These programs are more than education; they’re how our kids grow up Jewish, proud, and connected to community.
But we can’t do this alone.
We are raising funds to sustain and expand our Youth Programs over the next three years. Donations will support our exceptional educators—leaders like Education Director Sari Davidson, Rabbi Kolby Morris-Dahary, and passionate teachers who bring creativity, warmth, and deep Jewish knowledge to everything they do.
Your support helps us:
Retain and empower our dedicated staff
Expand and strengthen youth offerings for all age groups
Partner with initiatives like PJ Library and STAND to fight antisemitism and promote inclusion
Build a sustainable future for Jewish life in Northwest Colorado
In a time of rising antisemitism and disconnection, our kids need safe, empowering spaces to grow into strong, resilient Jewish adults. Your gift ensures that Jewish life doesn’t just survive here—it thrives.
💙 Donate today to help us meet our goal and be part of the future of Jewish community in the Rockies.
Together, we can keep the flame of Jewish identity burning bright—for this generation and the next.
