Access to nature is not an amenity—it's a necessity. Let's preserve the Canal forever.

$10,000 goal

Dear friends and family,

The High Line Canal is a cherished asset of the Denver metro region. At 71 miles long, it connects 15 distinct communities, 24 schools, 8,000 acres of open spaces, and over 1 million users annually from its start in Waterton Canyon to its terminus in Green Valley Ranch.

As members of the High Line Canal Conservancy Board of Directors, we work to fulfill the Conservancy's mission to preserve, protect and enhance the Canal by providing leadership, support and community building.

To achieve our goals, the Conservancy is currently working to:

  • plant new trees along the Canal corridor to replace aging cottonwoods
  • collaborate with partners to construct underpasses and enhance current road crossings for users to safely cross busy intersections
  • implement green infrastructure in the Canal to create a healthy stormwater management system
  • engage diverse and marginalized communities in the Northeast sections in local trail enhancement planning
  • host community programs and events along the Canal, including cleanups, brush removals, nature walks and environmental education
  • and more!

We have ambitious goals for 2025, and with your help, we can make them happen.

Please join us in supporting the High Line Canal Conservancy today!

Through December 31, please consider contributing to our fundraiser and helping us raise our goal of $10,000. Your gifts make a tangible difference, allowing us to implement timely, important projects to make the Canal safer, healthier, more accessible and connected for future generations.

With thanks,

HLCC Board of Directors
