I know you believe in the power of environmental and outdoor learning — and so do I!

These shared belief keeps me motivated and inspired to ensure all Coloradans have access to environmental and outdoor learning experiences. As a Board member of the Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education, we support educators all across the state who are serving as nature’s gardeners, helping students explore, discover, and ask questions about the world around them — and most importantly, learning to care for it. And right now, this work is more important than ever. 

This year has brought unprecedented challenges. From shifting funding and program threats to the elimination and restoration of our AmeriCorps grant, educators have faced a lot. 

You can help keep this garden thriving by ensuring educators like me have opportunities to learn, connect, and collaborate with one another. That’s why I’m so passionate about the Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education (CAEE). As a member of the Board of Directors, I’ve seen how CAEE lifts up educators, giving us tools, connections, and inspiration to share the wonders of our amazing state. CAEE has created a network that ensures that all communities—including rural—have access to quality education, and opportunities like the Seal of Climate Literacy!
