What Is After Prom? First and Foremost, it’s an event to keep our Juniors and Seniors safe in a fun filled environment at GMHS! We encourage ALL Juniors and Seniors to come party with us (casual attire), even if they don’t attend Prom. Students can look forward to activities like photo booths, a mechanical bull, inflatable obstacle course, a full casino, cash cube/money grab, live music, DJ music, glow in the shuffle board and ping-pong, free food, and HUGE money/prize giveaways! The event is from 11 pm until approximately 3:00 am. This long-standing tradition of more than 30 years! GMHS is one of the few schools that provides a fun, safe, and FREE party after the main prom event held at GMHS.
Who Coordinates After Prom? This event is run solely by parent volunteers who know how to have fun and want to keep our kids safe!
All GMHS Parents and Community Members: We welcome your participation! Even if you don’t have a Junior or Senior student, helping will give you great insight to this event for when you students go in the future. It takes a village to put on a successful and inclusive party for our Juniors and Seniors! There are several ways to help…you can help with decorating, set up/clean up, volunteer the night of the event, or make a cash donation or contribution for food and prizes. We appreciate any help you can give to make this long-standing 30+ year tradition of After Prom a success and a tradition that continues for years to come.
SENIOR PARENTS – There is a “Senior Wall” at AfterProm! Please make a poster to honor your senior (pictures of them growing up) and bring it to the school by April 1st.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT HELPED WITH AFTER PROM LAST YEAR! It was a huge success, and our goal is to make this year even better. It takes a lot of parent volunteers to provide a safe and fun place for our kids to go after PROM. We are proud to continue with this wonderful tradition in 2026!
