Fur Da Kitties!

Every cat that comes through our shelter has their health assessed, is spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. If we find something during the health check-up or while they're with us that needs further treatment, we do our best to make sure they get that treatment, whether it's an old injury to cancer and everything in between. 

We do this to because we care about all our kitties wellbeing and want all our happy cats to live long, healthy lives with their new families.

Some of our cats come to us needing treatment, like sweet Tilly, who was rescued by a partner shelter after someone threw her out of a car. She was completely blind, until the vet realized during her spay that her third eyelids were fused to her eyeball - so they took a risk to remove the membrane, which allowed her to see! Stories like hers are unfortunately more common than one might think.

$5 buys a microchip to identify the cat or kitten for life.

$10 buys a case of baby food to help sick kittens & cats.

$50 buys food and litter for one cat’s stay.

$100 covers general medical expenses for each Happy Cat.

$200 covers 2 sterilizations to stop the cycle of suffering.

$500 covers one average ER visit for very sick or injured cats and kittens.

$900 covers one average dental for a senior cat in our care.
