Families Forward Resource Center (FFRC), formally known as Lowry Family Center, is a full service community center providing supportive services and programs to families in northeast Denver and north Aurora. As a project of the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center, FFRC operates as a collaborative organization and serves as one of 31 family resource centers in the state of Colorado through the Family Resource Center Association.
FFRC has been serving the community for over 25 years and relies on funders, donors, supporters, and volunteers to help deliver resources and services within our communities. A hallmark of FFRC is "Kathy's Kamp" a youth enrichment program for children ages 5-14 years old. Kathy's Kamp, named after our founding director Kathy Hill-Young, is a high-quality summer program designed to provide affordable childcare for working families with school-age children, while simultaneously exposing participating children to a traditional summer camp program that they might not otherwise ever experience.
