Final Mile Fall ExtravaGALSa

GALS Denver is thrilled to participate in the Colorado Youth Sports Giving Campaign! Starting September 3rd at 6 PM MT and through Sept 30, your donation to GALS will be matched dollar for dollar up to $150k, thanks to the Daniels Fund, Project Play Colorado, and other generous supporters.

To maximize this match, we invite parents, community members, and businesses to attend and sponsor our signature fall event, the Final Mile Fall ExtravaGALSa — a celebration of each student’s strength, confidence, and physical growth. 

Join us Friday, October 3rd from 8:30 - 11:30 AM to: 

• Watch and cheer on students as they race
• Learn about GALS’ students' skills and talents
• Purchase homemade baked goods, handmade crafts, and GALS swag
• Celebrate the physical accomplishments of our student athletes

• 8:00 AM - Check In
• 8:30 AM - Event Start
• 8:45 AM - 8th grade first heat*
• 9:10 AM - 7th grade second heat*
• 9:35 AM - 6th grade third heat*
• 10:10 AM - Movement Awards and Student Circle
• 10:30 AM - ExtravaGALSa
• 11:45 AM - Clean Up + Conclusion
• 12:00 PM - Head to Lunch!

Community members can join any of the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade heats

How to get involved

The Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day match will amplify the impact of your sponsorship and help us fund active programs that encourage our students to thrive physically, from basketball and samba dancing, to golf, pickleball, and more! 

Note: If sponsoring a student, check the box to the left of “Add a Dedication to your Donation” and enter the student's name under “Name of Addressee” in the box that appears.
