Help FRESH Feed APS Families

FRESH @ ESC 4 is a free, choice food market created to help Aurora Public Schools families access healthy, nutritious, and culturally relevant foods in a welcoming environment that prioritizes dignity and choice.

FRESH is located at Educational Services Center 4 (ESC 4), a hub where families can connect with several APS programs and services, including Medicaid Outreach and Enrollment, the Welcome Center, McKinney-Vento, and the Metro Migrant Education Program. These teams work with families from many different backgrounds and circumstances, including newcomer and immigrant families, families experiencing housing instability, families of migratory agricultural workers, and families needing assistance accessing health coverage and other essential resources.

Our families bring a wide variety of cultures, traditions, and food preferences to our community. At FRESH, we believe providing food is about more than simply filling shelves. It is about offering foods that families recognize, enjoy, and can use to prepare meals that meet their household's needs.

Families visiting FRESH are able to choose from fresh produce, proteins, dairy produce, eggs, pantry staples, cooking oils, seasonings, and other essential foods. Rather than receiving a prepacked box, families can select the foods that work best for them.

Your donation will help us sustain the FRESH Market and keep our shelves, refrigerator, and freezer stocked with a wide variety of healthy and culturally relevant foods. Donations also allow us to supplement the food we receive through community partnerships and purchase the items our families need most.

Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps us continue providing APS families with access to nutritious food while honoring culture, choice, and dignity.

Thank you for helping FRESH feed APS families!
