ECHO Club's Mission: Send 10 Students to Where Cybersecurity Comes Alive

There's a moment in every security professional's journey when abstract concepts suddenly click into place. For our ECHO Club students at Front Range Community College, that moment could happen this February 2026 in Denver.

Wild West Hackin Fest @ Mile High 2026

This February 2026, Wild West Hackin Fest @ Mile High transforms the Hilton Denver City Center into a cybersecurity playground where 800 in-person attendees gather for workshops, hands-on labs, sessions, and community building. For our Front Range Community College students, who spend their days absorbing theory and their evenings in our club perfecting ethical hacking practices, this represents the moment where everything clicks. GitGuardian

This is where our students can experience firsthand that security isn't about proving you're the smartest person in the room; it's about protecting the people we care about, together.

Why This Matters: Beyond the Textbook

ECHO Club provides hands-on labs, wargames, and mentorship, but there's something irreplaceable about standing shoulder-to-shoulder with industry professionals who are actively defending Fortune 500 companies, hunting threats, and building the tools you've only read about. With over 50 presentations featuring actionable takeaways students can utilize immediately Active Countermeasures, this isn't passive learning, it's the real deal!

—Digital Caffeine Before Digital Things—

Our motto's philosophy recognizes that curiosity and joy fuel mastery. Those bite-sized builds, quick experiments, and energizing conversations are what transform students from passive learners into active practitioners.

The Opportunity: $225 Per Student, Infinite Possibilities

We're raising $2,250 to cover conference tickets for 10 deserving students. With Wild West Hackin Fest's generous student discount of 50% we are already halfway there! Here's what your support unlocks:

  • Real-World Relevance: From penetration testing tips to hardware hacking labs, CTF competitions to lock-picking tournaments Black Hills Information Security, students experience the full spectrum of security work
  • Professional Networks: Direct conversations with Mandiant consultants, BHIS pentesters, and security leaders from organizations students dream of joining
  • Practical Skills: Workshops on everything from Active Directory exploitation to building wireless exfiltration devices
  • Community Connection: The realization that everyone started somewhere, and everyone is willing to help

As future ethical hackers equipped to confront tomorrow's digital threats, our students need more than technical skills, they need to see themselves as part of something bigger.

Your donation doesn't just send them to a conference; it welcomes them into a community.

Help us show 10 students that their curiosity has a home in cybersecurity.
