Brad & Vinton Pierce Engineering Scholarship

Thank you for visiting our page! We are raising money for the Brad & Vinton Pierce Engineering Scholarship at the Community College of Aurora. This fund supports students pursuing an engineering pathway at CCA, with intent to transfer to a four-year university. Launching this scholarship in 2024 in honor of my father, we are currently supporting three students at the Community College of Aurora.

My dad (Vinton) had a decades long career as a Petroleum Engineer with Amoco Production Company. Vinton worked on oil and gas development projects located in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Alaska. In 1976, I began my long career with Amoco Production Company, now known as BP. I held various positions including Field Technologist and Production Technologist. I also served on the Community College of Aurora Foundation Board of Directors for many years, raising funds for student scholarships and programs.
