We have a goal to raise $1,000 to pay our choreographer for this year's musical, Seussical the Musical! (Junior Edition)
Our choreographer puts in well over a hundred hours of work from August through the show in May. She works with Ms. Bryson and Ms. Waterhouse (the directors) to select the show, and she assists with auditions, creates the dances, teaches them to the cast, puts together instructional videos for absent students, attends the dress rehearsal to offer feedback and notes, and attends the shows to support the students.
Her work is critical to the quality of our productions! Over 100 students are auditioning/applying for the show this year. Several classes/clubs at Dunstan also contribute to the production, hundreds of students and community members attend the show, and we do a matinee performance specifically for the 5th grades of our feeder elementary schools. It's a huge project, and it's a huge part of Dunstan's traditions and reputation.
Any additional funds raised will go towards the production to get sounds equipment, props, set pieces, and more!
