We Still Champion Art for All

Each year, the Clyfford Still Museum welcomes more than 25,000 visitors, with almost half enjoying free or low-cost admission through community programs, pay-what-you-wish days, and free entry for anyone under 17.  But the Still’s commitment to “Art for All” goes beyond just opening the doors—it’s about fostering a welcoming and accessible space that reflects Denver’s diverse spirit and encourages learning at every stage of life.

From the moment you step inside, the Still’s friendly staff is there to help you explore the museum in your own way.  Whether you’re enjoying live music in the galleries, attending an art-making event, or taking a guided tour, the Still invites you to ask questions, get comfortable, and stay as long as you like.

Throughout the Museum, you’ll find bilingual exhibition texts, free family guides in both English and Spanish, and large-print text guides.  The artworks are displayed at lower heights to encourage interaction from different perspectives—even if that means lying on the floor for a new angle. At the Still, you’re encouraged to discover art on your own terms and continue exploring throughout your life.

This inclusive spirit shines through the Museum's programs for all ages.  The Art Crawl program, designed for babies and caregivers, nurtures early learning and bonding through art.  The inStill program provides creative arts experiences for PreK-12 students, focusing on underfunded schools to ensure every child has the opportunity to connect with art.  With each new exhibition, there are talks, tours, and community events that invite people of all ages to explore art more deeply. The Still is truly a place where learners, from infants to adults, can enrich their understanding and connection with art.
