Raising funds to support underrepresented communities in attending our conferences and trainings

$225

$5,000 goal

Since 1938,  Colorado Public Health Association (CPHA) has aimed to make a lasting impact in the public health community and beyond. Our initiatives and activities are designed to catalyze true transformation. But above all, passion for our Colorado community is at the heart and soul of everything we do.

We support the development, education, and outreach capabilities of Colorado's incredible workforce. As the largest and oldest public health association in the state, we uplift our dedicated and talented members, who continuously contribute to Colorado's nationally-recognized public health services.

CPHA hosts four main educational events each year. Health Advocacy and Policy Summit, Culture of Data, Quarterly Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) Training Events and Public Health in the Rockies. As we continue our work, we know that we need to create opportunities for even more of our public health workforce to benefit from our educational programs.

This year we are focusing on raising funds to ensure that BIPOC; LGBTQIA+ identified persons; and/or as individuals from other historically underrepresented and under-uplifted communities (including our Rural and Frontier colleagues) are able to more readily attend our conferences and trainings.

ANY AMOUNT will help! $50 may help provide transportation to our trainings. $100 may help with Registration for our Culture of Data. $1500 will support a full scholarship to our annual training Public Health in the Rockies.
