Help Us Continue to Serve Colorado's Residents!
科州華報 (Colorado Chinese News) has been the heartbeat of the Chinese American community in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region since 1994. As one of the most beloved Chinese weekly newspapers in the U.S., we deliver trusted, free news to over 40,000+ readers across Colorado, Wyoming, North and, South Dakota, and Nebraska. From bustling Denver to rural outposts, we connect 华裔美人 (Chinese Americans), 侨胞 (overseas Chinese), and 留学生 (international students) with essential stories that matter.
Our Mission: Through honest reporting, we bridge the gap between our vibrant community and mainstream society—fostering collaboration, justice, and cultural pride. We amplify voices, advocate for rights, and celebrate heritage, ensuring no one is left unheard. (秉持正義公理,建立輿論權威。傳承中華文化,讓中華文化在科州生根。)
Our History: Born in 1994 amid economic challenges, we grew from 4 pages to a vibrant 32-page full-color weekly (21 pages in color!), never missing a Friday edition. Under Publisher Wendy Chao (趙陳月麗), we've pioneered free online access since 1996-97 and published the annual Colorado Chinese Yellow Pages since 1997—a free directory connecting businesses and families. Today, we celebrate 30 years of resilience!

Our Impact: Voices of the Community. We distribute free copies every Friday to restaurants, supermarkets, clinics, libraries, schools, and malls like Cherry Creek—reaching thousands via mail and online. Our diverse content includes:
- Community News & Spotlights: Profiles like Judy Onn, sports icons Jeremy Lin and Yao Ming, and red-carpet moments (e.g., Wendy on the Red Carpet).
- Special Columns: Health advice, real estate, legal Q&A, arts, and reader letters.
- Events & Culture: We host and co-sponsor cultural festivals, welcoming Asian Americans, mainstream leaders, and students—earning praise from state and city governments.
As a bridge (為社區作橋樑), we've promoted well-being and equity, becoming an indispensable "spiritual food" (精神食糧) for our readers. In a time of rising needs, your support ensures we continue free access amid increasing costs.
Awards & Recognition.
