Our family receives coaching and support through the Jacob Center. What does this mean?
We're not alone in caring for Aydin and their support has made a tremendous difference.
Here's how they show up for our family:
- When we have a rough day, the team from the Jacob Center comes to our home at a moment's notice to provide support when things get messy
- Coaches from the Jacob Center spend time with Aydin so he can build relationships with care adults and have fun (and get a break from his boring parents)
- The Jacob Center is trauma-informed and helps us advocate for Aydin and ourselves with the school and other providers
