Hannah Rose's Fundraiser for Chinook Fund

Hi friends and family,

I'm reaching out today not just as a supporter of social justice, but as a proud alum of Chinook Fund’s Fall 2020 Giving Project—an experience that transformed how I think about philanthropy, power, and grassroots change.

Chinook Fund isn’t your typical nonprofit organization. It’s a community-led funder that directs resources to some of the most visionary, intersectional, and underfunded groups in Colorado—organizations led by and for people most impacted by injustice. Whether it's fighting for housing justice, immigrant rights, racial equity, or climate solutions, Chinook grantees are doing the deep, generational work of building a more just and liberated future.

In 2020, I had the honor of being part of a cohort that raised money and made funding decisions—centering equity, transparency, and collaboration every step of the way. It wasn’t easy work, but it was necessary, and it made me believe deeply in the power of collective giving.

Now, I’m asking you to stand with me again.

For Chinook Fund’s Fall 2025 Campaign, I’ve set a personal fundraising goal of $200—and I need your help to reach it by December 31! Your gift, no matter the size, directly supports grassroots groups doing some of the most critical work in our state.

You can provide ongoing support for this work by opting to make your donation recur monthly, sharing Chinook Fund's work with your community, and/or applying for the Giving Project's Spring 2026 program, which begins in January 2026.
