CALDAC Youth Summer Dance Program
The CALDAC Youth Program is a summer dance initiative that empowers youth ages 11–17 through Afro Latin dance, music, and cultural education. Held weekly over 6 weeks during the summer, the program introduces students to vibrant styles such as Salsa and Bachata, taught by professional instructors from the Afro Latin community.
Participants not only gain dance skills but also experience personal growth through artistic expression, cultural learning, and peer collaboration.
Our Goals
Inspiring youth through engaging Afro Latin arts education
Encouraging healthy movement and physical activity
Building self-confidence and leadership through creativity
Supporting emotional well-being in a safe and inclusive space
Strengthening community ties with a final public performance
In 2026, our target is to enroll at least 25 students and provide 5 full scholarships to youth from low-income households. The program will culminate in a joyful recital that brings the community together and celebrates the students’ hard work and growth.
Help Us Keep This Program Low Cost and Accessible!
You can make a difference by:
Sponsoring a youth participant for $125, covering the full cost of their participation in the next program (June 8 – July 13, 2026). Sponsors will receive the names of the students their sponsorship helped, offering a direct connection to the impact of your support.
Donating any custom amount to support the program and expand access to underserved youth.
Every Donation Makes a Difference
