Forgotten Felines Rescue's yearly Colorado Gives Day fundraiser, which runs Nov. 1-Dec. 9, 2025, is our largest financial driver annually. 85% of our annual income comes from donations and those funds go directly to supporting cats and kittens through things like veterinary care, vaccines, spay/neuter services, health and welfare care, emergency care and dental care.
In 2025, we are excited to announce that we will be randomly selecting a donor each week to win a cool prize - everything from a tarot reading to jewelry to a hoodie and more! Check out our website to see what we're giving away this week!
Forgotten Felines Rescue (FFR) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of homeless cats and kittens in the Denver metro area. FFR is 100% volunteer-based and 90% of our expenses directly support our care for cats and kittens (not administrative or overhead costs).
What sort of work does Forgotten Felines Rescue do?
FFR provides Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) services for feral cats, helping to curb the stray cat population growth.
FFR provides food and water, and cares for groups of feral cats (colonies) who would otherwise be forced to forage for food, water and shelter.
FFR has several volunteers who provide foster care and socialization for stray kittens and abandoned tame cats to get them ready for forever homes.
FFR provides veterinary care and rehabilitation for feral cats who are in poor health or injured.
