TRI has hired and trained peer support specialists to run our Welcome Back Center - helping parolees with the transition back to your community.
Peer support specialists are uniquely qualified having the lived experience of being incarcerated and going through parole. Our members find eye-to-eye support in living a renewed life within the community.
The peer support specialists are tasked with
conducting pre-screens,
supporting care manager meetings with resources and goal planning,
meeting individually with members in the office or in the community who need recovery or general support,
co-facilitating therapeutic groups, and
increasing engagement by parole tabling and outreach.
