C4 is proud to be part of Give Outdoor Learning, a statewide campaign running through June to support the places, programs, and people connecting Coloradans with nature.
This collective effort is helping more kids and families experience the joy of outdoor learning while building confidence, curiosity, and community along the way.
Through our Nature-Based Learning program, every Lake County student—from preschool to high school—gets outside for hands-on, place-based experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and deepen their connection to our local landscapes. It's not just about bringing kids to Cloud City Farm: C4's education team also supports students with field lessons, classroom extension projects, and opportunities for career exploration.
In the last two weeks alone, C4 educator Ash Warner has led field lessons for ALL local K-5th grade students. Hands-on exploration of local outdoor treasures like Hayden Meadows, the Leadville National Fish Hatchery, and Camp Hale truly brought classroom learning to life for these students!
