Inclusive Cheers to the Next 20 Years!

Thank you for visiting my Colorado Gives Day page! 

For those of you that don’t know this is my fourth year as the Bears classroom lead teacher. I feel so fortunate to have held this position for that amount of time and am so grateful to the Rise community for being such a welcoming place. As the Bears teacher alongside my teaching teammate Maggie, we are some of the first faces our new incoming families meet at Rise. We take such pride in this responsibility and do everything in our power to make our Bear families feel welcomed and provide them with a space where they feel as though they belong. I have seen so many remarkable things happen in my classroom, from our Bears taking their first steps, to their first words, and watching their friendships blossom with their same aged peers with and without disabilities. The work that we do at Rise is truly unmatched and something I feel so proud to be apart of. 

To keep tuition accessible and affordable for all our families, tuition only covers 43% of Rise's operating costs. The remaining 57% is raised through grants and donations, which is why I'm sharing my personal fundraising page with you. The Rise School is proud to be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, but we need your help to make sure Rise is here for another 20 years!
