Make a real difference in your community! Contribute to The Art Garage Scholarship Fund, and directly impact a student or family in need of assistance. Your support enables The Art Garage to make the visual arts fully accessible and inclusive for artists of all backgrounds! We can't keep splattering our community with creativity without YOU!

Art can change lives! Access to creative resources and spaces allows for expression of ideas and emotions, builds community and is a way for individuals to connect across experiences and cultures. The process of art creation promotes physical and mental health by getting our bodies and minds moving, and giving us an outlet to process complex thoughts and emotions. Our students and scholarship recipients can testify to the impact The Art Garage has made on them:

"Thank you for a great opportunity to be able to have my son at your wonderful artistic studio under a scholarship. I would not have been able to afford this otherwise." - Anonymous Parent of a Scholarship Recipient

"Being in the art garage has allowed my children to achieve success and have recreational spaces that aren't possible for me because I don't have enough income. My children really enjoy being there; they've explored all kinds of materials, techniques, and colors, which allows them to have entertainment options when they're not in school. I love the art garage and am very grateful for it." - Anonymous Parent of a Scholarship Recipient

"Our son has profound autism and this is his second year talking classes at the Art Garage. The staff and instruction are one of the more inclusive programs in Denver. Would recommend to anyone!!!!" - Anonymous Parent of Youth Artist/Participant

"My kiddo said this was the best camp experience of his life this far. He also met more genderqueer kids/people in 3 days than the last 10 years. We're so thankful for the inclusive environment. So good for his growth." - Anonymous Parent of a Scholarship Recipient

"I like how all the teachers are free to be themselves. I think it’s great for young children to be exposed to all types of thinkers and people." - Anonymous Parent of Youth Artist/Participant

"The Art Garage has been a very healing space for me. Having the ability to come every week to get support, try out new art techniques, and express myself through art has been an important part of my healing process. I am so grateful to all The Art Garage does to support me and the other members of the community. I know I couldn't have made it so far in my healing in the last year without the support of this space and its staff."- Allie, Community Engagement Program Adult Artist/Participant

"My four year old has thrived in Art Garage's homeschool class. Being around other 4-8 year olds in a calm, creative environment is the highlight of his week!" - Anonymous Parent of a Scholarship Recipient

"I've learned it's okay to be vulnerable and show my creations. Trauma makes it easy to hide any vulnerable feelings or self expressions. Art has made it easier to rewrite that narrative." - Anonymous Community Engagement Program Adult Artsit/ Participant

"The kids always had a better day when starting off the day at The Art Garage. They really enjoyed the experience and the positive alternative way to express themselves."- Lynn, Staff Member from Community Engagement Program Partner Organization
