Alameda Connects Community Grant Program

Goal: $10,000

The Alameda Connects Community Grant Program provides competitive grants of $500–$2,500 to public schools, nonprofits, and small businesses in Lakewood’s Alameda Corridor. Funded through a partnership with the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center, these grants support projects that build community, improve quality of life, promote economic growth, and benefit the public good.

All projects must align with Alameda Connects’ mission: To foster opportunity and prosperity by cultivating connections and celebrating our vibrant Lakewood community.

Since launching in 2019, Alameda Connects has awarded over 100 grants through programs such as:

  • Make a Difference (schools and nonprofits),
  • Small but Mighty (small businesses),
  • We Can Do It (COVID-19 support).

Mission

Fostering opportunity and prosperity by celebrating and connecting our community.
