Keeping History Alive

I’m proud to be a Heritage Champion — and here’s why. 

The Humanities are for everyone. Our programs and outreach reach across the entire state of Colorado, engaging with our rich history and culture and how it transcends across regions and different lived experiences. As the History Programs Coordinator, the History programs that we've helped with across the state have reached over 15,000+ people in the last two years. This includes our Black History Live events, History Speakers Bureau, Museum on Mainstreet, Young Chautauqua, and our three Chautauqua festivals in Greeley, Grand Junction and Durango. Our programming is a reflection of Colorado's population, and we are just getting started. There is so much that we still have left to do to help preserve the history of those in Colorado but we cannot do it without you.
