Soda Shop Movement Company | CO Gives Day 2026

At Soda Shop Movement Company, we believe dance has the power to inspire, connect, and transform. As Northern Colorado’s only professional dance company, we are dedicated to the survival of the arts in our community by creating bold, meaningful performances that enrich our cultural landscape and provide opportunities for artists to not just survive, but thrive.

Soda Shop isn't just for the stage.

We perform in nontraditional spaces. We dance in local businesses like The Neighbor, in the streets during First Friday Art Walks, in front of City Hall, in museums, and with the Ft. Collins Symphony. We provide educational and interactive workshops at the Boys and Girls Club, PRIDE festivals, and assisted living facilities.

We get out into our community and engage.

As the University of Denver Dance Archives' '26-'27 Emerging Leader in Dance, Soda Shop is establishing Ft. Collins as a growing hub of arts and culture. Being so far north of Denver, we fall outside of the funding streams other dance companies typically rely on. Soda Shop is built solely on grass-roots funding.

Simply put, none of this is possible without you. Your donation this CO Gives Day is more than a gift. It is an investment in the future of the arts. Your support ensures that professional dance remains accessible, impactful, and inspiring for generations to come in Northern Colorado. Each dollar raised through this campaign is amplified and injected directly back into the local economy.

Thank you so much. Together we can keep professional dance not just surviving, but thriving in the community we love.
