Red Fern Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based animal rescue in Denver, CO whose mission is to rescue dogs from abandonment and neglect in South Texas, to advocate for animal welfare, and to connect adopters with their ideal canine companion.
Red Fern Animal Rescue is a foster-based, all-volunteer organization run by individuals with a passion for helping animals of all ages, sizes, and breeds with a special focus on aiding the "underdog" or "undercat". With the appropriate medical care and emotional support, these animals have the opportunity to thrive in a new home/environment. Our furry friends are worth it, a thousand times over!
TESTIMONIALS:
There really are no words to describe Melissa and Gregg with Red Fern. They are beyond selfless, devoted, and dedicated to saving animals from S. Texas. We have adopted 2 dogs through them. Our Lucy Lou, who we have had for a little over 6 years, was heartworm positive and a complete mess. She is the sweetest, most loving dog with the softest ears ever! Her favorite things to do are fetching her ball and jumping in the water (she is a black Lab mix or almost all Lab). About a year and a half ago, my daughter was volunteering at one of their events and sure enough we came home with a puppy we named Baby Bella Boo Boo. She is also very sweet but loves to taunt her older sister by trying to chase her and lick her - lol :) Our lives would not be the same without either and we owe it all to Red Fern!
