Mission Statement
Manual Thunderbolt Alumni Nation Inc. is a Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established for educational, charitable, and civic purposes to preserve the traditions and legacy of Manual High School (MHS) and to strengthen the broader community it has helped shape.
Project Description
Every year on the first Saturday in August, Manual Thunderbolt Alumni Nation Inc. proudly hosts the Annual Party-n-the-Park (PITP) — a vibrant, family-friendly community celebration held in Denver’s beautiful City Park (West Meadows area).
This beloved tradition brings together alumni from Manual High School, graduates from other Denver high schools, community leaders, and residents from across the city. It’s a day filled with live music, great food, performances, and fellowship across generations.
Each year, PITP honors outstanding individuals who have made lasting contributions to our neighborhoods. While we continue to grow this cherished tradition, we must raise a minimum of $15,000 annually.
These funds support:
- City Park event permits and logistics
- Live entertainment and performances
- Stage, sound, and safety equipment
- Community recognition awards and presentations
- Family-friendly activities and youth engagement areas
Community Impact
The Annual Party-n-the-Park is more than a gathering — it’s a living expression of what makes our community strong.
Your support helps preserve a Denver tradition, promotes unity and pride, provides a safe, inclusive space to recognize community heroes.
Why It Matters
Manual High School has long been a symbol of heritage, excellence, and perseverance in Denver. The PITP event embodies that spirit by celebrating our roots while strengthening today’s community bonds.
Your contribution ensures that this event continues to be a space where everyone — young and old, past, present, and future — can gather in joy, remembrance, and hope.
Together, we are preserving the Manual legacy and building bridges for the next generation.
