Fundraiser for Love for Lily

In 2023 we had the unexpected arrival of our twins, Charlotte and Theodore, at 25 weeks and 3 days gestation. Unfortunately, our strong and courageous baby girl did not survive her fight with sepsis. In total we spent 92 days in the NICU. While there, we had frequent check-ins from the Love for Lily team, even a couple of visits from Sahra herself. As those who have been in the NICU know, it can be a very lonely experience during admission and after discharge. Sahra reached out personally after we graduated the NICU with words of encouragement and provided this mama with a sense of community and love. This Spring I will be running with team Love for Lily during the Colfax Marathon weekend. Now it is time for my family to do their part: to raise money so the Love for Lily team can give other parents in the NICU the hope, love and shoulder to lean on that they gave us in our time of need.
