Art Song for the Win

Hello Friends! I'm working with Eapen Leubner, the ASC founder and Executive Director, to create a future for classical vocal music opportunities within and for Colorado Artists. I have been a member of this team for a little over a year now, and have enjoyed working with so many local musicians.

Art Song Colorado's innovate performances can take upward of a year to curate, write and build.  The opportunities included for our artists include coaching in music, language and input into the creative design of each unique show. These programs are never just a singer and pianist chilling on stage. ASC pushes the limits of what a small recital organization should be able to do - we really go above and beyond. 

Most importantly, ASC pays fair wages to all musicians. I strongly believe that performing for "exposure" is not sustainable. Musicians deserve to make a livable wage!

Unique and Inspiring Programming

Combines art song with visual art for immersive experiences.

Programs underrepresented new works (second and third productions) to share their stories.

Hosts an emerging artist competition where the winner not only wins a cash prize, but their program is turned into a full production with Art Song Colorado's support.

Produces an educational tour for local schools to teach about the art song genre.
