Opening Doors to Early Childhood Education

At Washington Park Early Learning Center (WPELC), we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, play, and grow in a nurturing community where they feel seen, valued, and supported.

One of our priorities is to make our unique, play-based preschool experience accessible to more families. Financial barriers should not stand in the way of a child's opportunity to benefit from high-quality early childhood education.

This year, we are proud to launch the Sarah Mogen Scholarship Fund, with an initial fundraising goal of $20,000 to help provide tuition assistance to families who might otherwise be unable to attend WPELC.

The fund honors our beloved former Director and teacher, Sarah Mogen, whose warmth, creativity, and deep belief in the potential of every child helped shape our school for more than a decade.

For over 50 years, WPELC has been rooted in the belief that children thrive when families, educators, and neighbors come together. Through this scholarship fund, we hope to extend that sense of belonging and opportunity to even more children.

Qualifying contributions are eligible for Colorado's 50% Child Care Contribution Tax Credit for those residing in Colorado.
