At Longmont Theatre Company, every performance—whether it’s a play, a musical, a staged reading, or a young actor’s first time on stage—relies on connection between the performer and the audience. As we continue to grow, our current sound system is no longer able to consistently support that experience. We don’t always have enough reliable microphones or channels to ensure every voice is heard the way it was meant to be.

Drop the Mic is our campaign to change that. With your support, we will invest in an upgraded microphone system that strengthens every production and ensures clarity, consistency, and confidence for performers of all ages.

This isn’t just about equipment—it’s about making sure every story reaches every seat, and every voice has the chance to be heard.
