The Boys & Girls Club of Buena Vista currently operates out of Avery Parsons Elementary School. Operating within shared school spaces limits our ability to provide programs and to serve all age groups consistently. In 2022, we began fundraising to build a new, permanent home for our Buena Vista Club. We plan to break ground this year.
The vision for our project is a modern 20,000-square-foot building. The facility will include a full-sized gym—as well as a STEM lab, teen space, art room, and a two story climbing wall. The building will function as a true community hub, supporting youth development while also providing flexible space for recreation and meetings. As of February 2026, we have raised 87% of our budget goal of $10 million, and we need your help to cross the finish line!
Donations made to Boys & Girls Clubs of Chaffee County may qualify you, as a taxpayer, for a 50% State of Colorado tax credit, in addition to the normal state and federal deductions for the donation. Please consult with your tax advisor for more information.
