Healthy Snacks for My Classroom

I’m raising funds to purchase nutritious snacks for my students throughout the school year. Having healthy snacks available helps make sure my students have something to eat when they need it and are ready to learn.

Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward purchasing healthy snacks for my classroom. I love my students, too many of whom have not had easy lives. My heart hurts when I know they are legitimately hungry. I wish I had endless food supplies to keep their bellies full so they could focus on learning. There is nothing more painful than a teen asking (which they often do) for food because they are genuinely hungry. For them to ask for food is a "big ask," and I'd like to ensure they at least have some sustenance. 

I teach teens the value of "paying it forward," as they know the granola bars are the result of strangers' generosity. I encourage them to drop off donations to schools when they are adults, just as people have done for them. Thank you so much for supporting my students! ❤️
