Horse Training Management Program Truck Fundraiser
Lamar Community College is raising funds to purchase a truck that will safely tow the recently built horse trailer supporting the Horse Training Management Program. This equipment is essential for transporting horses to competitions, training experiences, educational events, and community demonstrations that provide students with real-world, hands-on learning opportunities.
The Horse Training Management Program is a nationally recognized program that prepares students for careers in the equine industry by combining classroom instruction with practical experience. While the new trailer represents a major investment in student learning, a reliable tow vehicle is now needed to fully utilize it and ensure safe, dependable travel for both students and horses.
Your support helps expand experiential learning opportunities, strengthens workforce training in the agricultural and equine industries, and ensures students gain the professional skills and industry exposure needed for successful careers. By contributing to this effort, you are directly investing in student success, animal safety, and the continued growth of one of Lamar Community College’s signature programs.
Every gift moves this program forward — helping students learn by doing while supporting an industry that remains vital to Southeast Colorado’s economy and heritage.
