Rachel's Fundraiser: ASP Prevent Suicide 2025!

I am so grateful to work at the Alliance for Suicide Prevention. I adore my job! I am a compassionate, engaged community member and actively advocate for mental health and wellness. I am dedicated to bolstering protective factors and engaging an upstream approach to prevention through policy change, program development, education, and community collaboration.

As the Deputy Director, I get to use my superpower of connection to identify gaps and reduce duplications to align work across sectors, including non-profits, healthcare systems, school districts, and the community at large. I feel so fortunate to work with our amazing team to improve community health, break down the stigma around mental health, and reduce the rate of suicide in Northern Colorado.

 

The Alliance for Suicide Prevention of Larimer County is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those impacted by suicide.

Colorado continues to rank among the top ten states for suicide deaths. In our community, a suicide occurs every 5–6 days — each one someone’s child, parent, partner, or friend. Behind every number is a story and a community that must respond.

For over 30 years, the Alliance for Suicide Prevention of Larimer County has been on the front lines — offering free education, outreach, and support to thousands each year. Your donations allow us to continue providing prevention education, mental health trainings, and grief support for those affected by suicide.

But the need is growing faster than the funding. Calls for help are rising, youth anxiety is at record highs, and community partners are stretched thin. To keep these lifesaving programs active and reach those who need us most, we need your support now more than ever.
